On connaissait le duo Mayaëlo par ses concerts, depuis 2007, et par un premier disque (CD) plein de fraîcheur enregistré en 2008.
En 2011, le duo s’enrichit d’une nouvelle dimension en accueillant la basse comme nouvel instrument.
Ainsi, appuyées sur ce « fondement sonore », les harmonies peuvent se déployer dans toute leur étendue et ouvrir pleinement l’espace pour y recevoir les paroles en français.
Le trio Mayaëlo poursuit son chemin et crée un collectif de musiciens pour les accompagner dans différentes formes: Mayaëlo en choeur, Mayaëlo en quintette, en cherchant toujours à affiner ses exigences musicales et son engagement artistique, fidèle à ses racines des sources ancestrales.
LE MESSAGE
A l’écoute de la sagesse des forces primitives, le trio Mayaelo traduit en mots et en musique le ravissement qu’apporte la conscience d’être une petite parcelle d’un tout.
Les trois musiciens nous invitent à retrouver les émotions fondamentales à travers des textes qui appellent à des prises de conscience, et qui prônent la paix, sans naïveté toutefois…
Et les témoignages du public, qui sort des concerts apaisé et « amoureux de la vie », incitent à croire à ce singulier regard sur le monde !
LA MUSIQUE
Harmonies chaudes et colorées, rythmes vifs et entraînants, appuyés par une ligne de basse qui permet aux voix d’habiter tout l’espace.
Les flûtes de pan côtoient balafon chromatique et percussions tandis que les sonorités célestes du hang se mêlent aux vibrations du charango et du cuatro.
LA SCENE
D’emblée le public se laisse entraîner et scande de frappements de mains les rythmes lancés par les musiciens. Forte du soutien de cette complicité, Maya se plante au centre de la scène pour dessiner l’univers de Mayaëlo. Sa voix pure dira tout au fur et à mesure du concert, des sons profondément terriens aux sons célestes, avec une grande sensibilité dans les nuances et une délicate poésie. La conviction tranquille et joyeuse qui rayonne des trois jeunes musiciens tout au long du concert se communique au public, qui s’en retourne avec un espace intérieur plus vaste et plus serein…
